Daniel is four years old. He has been a great addition to our family. He has been our ray of light during the hard times. When Mom was living with us during her cancer, he brought us so much happiness. He is my little buddy when the boys are at school. He sure has a way of pulling at your heart strings. The other night Thad went in his room to turn out the light and found Daniel fast asleep holding picture of him and his Dad (the picture posted). Thad usually isn't too emotional, but he was that night. He always tells people he loves them, and gives big hugs. Daniel learned to ride his bike without training wheels when he was three. What a fun kid.

David is 7 years old. What a great kid! You will always find him singing. Before he could talk he could hum Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. He loves school and does very well. He has a gift of memorization; he can watch a movie once and quote scenes word for word. David enjoys playing basketball with his Dad, Brothers, and Uncles. He is playing Jr. Jazz starting in January. He also enjoys family bike rides, riding and feeding willow, camping, fishing, reading, and so much more. David is looking forward to starting Scouts in June.

Jared is 8 years old. What a great kid! He is very outgoing and love to socialize with the entire neighborhood. He is so good at figuring things out and can build almost anything out of Legos and Kinex. Jared loves airplanes and wants to be a pilot when he grows up. He does very well in school, but truly loves summer vacation. He recently took 3rd place in the Pinewood Derby, and has fulfilled all the requirements to receive his Wolf in January. Jared is happiest when he is playing football and basketball with his dad and brothers, camping/hiking, riding horses, biking up the Provo Bike Trail as a family, playing with friends, and watching a good movie. Jared also seems to enjoy playing duets on the piano.

Jason is 8 years old. He is a great kid! His teachers at school adore him. He is such a hard worker. I believe he has inherited is Granddad's gene to be actively engaged in a physical project. He loves yard work and always asks if it's time to mow the lawn. He recently took 2nd place in the Pinewood Derby. He also just finished his wolf requirements and will be awarded his Wolf in January. Jason is happiest when he is camping/hiking, riding Willow, playing football with his Dad and brothers, and playing basketball.

I would like to introduce you to my family: Thad(?), Tami (?), Jason(8), Jared(8), David (7), and last but not least Daniel(4). Yes, we are in the boy club. Thad is the oldest of 8 boys and no sisters, so I believe there is a genetic glitch going on somewhere. My Mother-in- law was given a girl cabbage patch kid for Christmas from all her sons, to make up for the lack of femininity in the family. I believe my fate will be the same. That's ok though, Boy's are great to have. We can get ready in the mornings in no time flat. All they require is a head dip in the sink and a brush. Hey, my boys don't even need gel.

I did it, I did it, are you all proud of me!! I have finally risen from my primitive world and have joined the world of all you crazy bloggers. I can still say I don't own a cell phone, and have no desire to do so. My Husband is always telling me I can get a cell phone, but I can tell by the quirk in his face that he is secretly glad I don't have one. If the time I spent chatting on the 'Martineau Gossip Line' from our home line was extended to cellular minutes, we would end up searching for large trees and underpasses to provide shelter for our family.
